Education
In Ljungby there is a municipal upper secondary school with approximately 1,200 students. Trade and industry, University College/University and the municipality cooperate to provide a number of training courses at Högskolecentrum Ljungby. In all, there are 500 students here.

Living
In Ljungby you can choose between living in the city, a community 10-30 km from the city or in the countryside. Whichever you choose, you are always close to forests, lakes and open fields.

For the children
Child-care is well developed; there are both public and private alternatives, located in the city and the communities. Elementary schools are also located in the city as well as several communities.

Leisure time
We enjoy our countryside, forests and lakes all year round. We shop in the town centre both in established chain stores and in indepentent boutiques.
Museums featuring local artist Sven Ljungberg, story-telling and local history, music and theatre, antiques, art and crafts, and sports such as ice-hockey and soccer are just a few examples of possibilities for recreation in Ljungby.
